“The Photo Ark” is an animal photography project of National Geographic Society, led by internationally-renowned photographer, Joel Sartore. The goal of the project is to photograph animals in zoos and wildlife reserves around the world, endeavoring to document global biodiversity and inspire people to take action in innovative ways to save endangered species and protect species habitats. .

Although Creative Way Global (CWA) is positioned as a trading company of aquatic livestock, we spare no effort in sustainable management and animal conservation. This April, we collaborated with National Geographic Society on “The Photo Ark” project; through our superior capability of goods collection and environment settings in the industry, CWA assisted the project team to photograph 235 kinds of aquatic animals in just two and half days..

With many years of experience of pet-trade management, CWA has witnessed more and more Taiwan native animals suffer a sharp decline in population year by year, due to factors such as extreme climate, commercial collection, and alien invasive species. Therefore, unlike other cooperative units that provided various captive species, we tried to collect Taiwan’s original (wild) species as possible for the photography team to take pictures. We hope that “The Photo Ark” project could arouse awareness of wildlife conservation from Taiwan’s pet-trade industry, reduce their dependence on the natural environment, and at the same time develop artificial breeding technology for wild animals as much as possible, to ensure that Taiwan’s pet trade and wild species can co-exist.
